Hi Cape First Family, as you know, we are in an unprecedented time in our nation and world. With everything that is going on, you may be wondering what Cape First is doing. Well, I want to give you some updates. We have put together a plan with both a physical response and spiritual response. We are  doing everything we can to cultivate a sense of normalcy and connectivity.

First, for our physical response. Due to recommendations placed upon us by our President and local officials, we are moving our gatherings online. Our weekend worship services will gather at our normal times of 9am and 11am. The place for that is live.capefirst.org and facebook.com/capefirstchurch. Have a church service right there in your own home. After the live service ends, the sermon will be available on our youtube channel, Youtube.com/capefirstchurch.

We are also excited about services for our kids! We are  constantly developing videos for your children, including those that are in Kids Life and involved with Super Wednesday. These videos will be available on our youtube channel at youtube.com/capefirstchurch.

Remix College and Young Adults will continue to meet on Monday through their Facebook page, facebook.com/capefirstremix.

areaONE will meet on their instagram on Thursday at 3pm. You can find areaONE on instagram with the username “weonechurch”.

Secondly, our church offices will stay open during normal office hours. We will continue to stay open as long as we can. One of the reasons we are staying open is we want to be there for our church family. You can come to meet with a pastor, bring tithes and offerings, or anything else you may need. You can find our hours and locations at capefirst.org/locations.

We will start every morning with live prayer at 8am beginning Monday, March 23rd on our Facebook page. These prayer times will be lead by our Ministry Team. We encourage you to find us on Facebook and join us every morning at 8am.

During this time, we want to encourage you. Stay connected, stay engaged. Continue to worship God in your giving as you always have. You can give through the Cape First App and the website. Also, stay connected to our social media outlets including the Cape First App. We will continue to keep our church family updated in this time.
